Inquirer

I was curious about why people like smoke? and why people make cigarette. I wait 4 years to some one answer it, because I always saw many people smoke and then they have disease, do you think its true? its make harm to your self or your age will be short.

When I go to my grandma house suddenly, in the street is traffic. You can look many people walk and smoke, when I open my car glass I smell the smoke and I cough, its was so creepy.
That is many impact to people like If you smell the smoke you can sick rite?? and smoke can impact too in the world. I always asked to my mom and my dad they just said " it just for fun maybe some one stress and they want don't know what can they do so they do something else"

Some reasons said cigarette can make people do again and again its like if you smoke first time you will get the second time, of course its make you sick to your body. This is the first time I tell you my curious question. I have second question, this is still about smoke, Why they mother agree it?.

You know many teenage smoke including a child and the mother agree it, I  think its was creepy.

Reflection on The Ugly Girl

The differences between reading a story and telling a story is when I telling a story I must remember it,  and we must make expression to make people not boring to listen my story and if telling story we must have a own words.

But if we reading a  story  very different is when I reading a story I just read it, I don’t have a expression...


I think the difficult for this unit is when I add the adjectives and change all the verbs to pas tens because my English not to good... maybe if I learn in ESL I can do it.

I think the easy unit for me is when I search the story and add the conversation in my story . Because I like to make a story so it’s not a problem for me...

I think the important to remember it  when telling a story . is I  must have my own words. yes I successful for podcast

I think I feel fun and happy about my podcast .. 6 weeks I think that is fine.

the part in differences between reading story and telling a story is when I read a story I make the expression

study story bird because I like make a story... make a sound  because my sound not really good.

An Ugly Girl

Hi all, this is my podcast from language B in Mr. Jabiz's ESL class

Once upon a time there lived a little girl with an ugly face.
“What can I do? I’m ugly,” Betty asked a small bird in the tree.
“No you’re not!  You must be patient. In the world no one is perfect,” answered the little bird.
The little girl was confused. “You can talk?” asked Betty.
“Hm. yes I can, ” said the bird.
“Can you help me?” asked Betty. She was very happy.
“ Yes, why not!” sang the bird happily.
“ Can you help me to be beautiful?” asked Betty.
“I think you can ask Mr. Pup because I’m just a little bird. I don’t know everything. I can just sleep, sing, and eat, ” said the little bird with a little smile.
“Okay. Thanks for helping me but I don’t know where Mr. Pup lives. Can you give me the address?” asked Betty clapping her hands.

“You must turn left after you see the shoe shop. Then you will see a little tree. And there will be Mr. Pup’s house,” sang the little bird happily.
“Okay Betty I’m sorry I want go to my house because my mom says I must be back at 2 o’clock,” said the bird flying away .
“Owh… yeah see you next time “ said Betty with waved her hands.

Early the next morning, she met Mr. Pup and asked him, “How can I become beautiful?” He said, “ You must go straight until you see a tall mountain.” But, she didn't know where the tall mountain was.

“Hmm. Why do you want to be beautiful?” asked Mr. Pup.
“Because if people are ugly then they would be humiliated, oppressed and not considered by others.”
“Okay that’s fine. You can ask Mr. Thief.” said Mr. Pup.
“ Wait, I don’t know, where is the Mr. Thief house” said betty.
“ Hey… we must turn left and go ahead. And there is Mr. Thief house” said Mr. pup.
“ Thanks” said betty very happy

Early the next morning, she asked Mr. Thief, “How can I be beautiful?”
“You must go to the family circus,” he answered.
“Ok thank you, but I don’t know where that is.” asked Betty.
“I will give you the address. first you seen the biggest tree then you turn left.”  said Mr. Thief.
“ Thanks,for gift me the address” said Betty.
“ Welcome” said Betty wit big smile.

Finally, she met the circus family and asked them, they said that she must ask the twin birds, they thought that twin birds know where the high mountain is? So she went to look for the twin birds.

In the middle way, she met the twin birds and asked them about the high mountain, than they said, yes I know, but I don't know where it is, I just know who knows that mountain.

The twin bird said, "That she's must go until the end of the road".

In the end of the road she met a little bear and asked him, he's said "the cat know everything about the high mountain, you must turn right, and go straight, you'll meet the cat there,"

Finally, she's met the cat that she's looking for she’s going to ask him, where's the high mountain? than Mr. cat said that she's must go to ask Mrs. cat.

Mrs. cat say's, that we must follow the yarn's until the yarn's are empty, and there is it the high mountain,

She’s following the yarn's until she's meet a little fairy, suddenly, she's saw the little fairy was getting trouble and she's help the little fairy, than the fairy give her one request to her,

And she's answered that she wants’ being beautiful, and the fairy accept her request, well, that's the end of the story.

Storybird Reflection

In my language  B class, my teacher Mr. Jabiz  told us we must make story from storybird. At that time I'm very happy because I must imagine a lot of  images.  We must do this step by step. And then we can choose any stories. Before I start to make story bird, I must have stamina and  energy to have new idea.
The second thing is we must create 15 slide that tell a story. So we must make sure there is an obvious. Next step is copy all the text to a word doc. We must copy and paste the text and the image.
Suddenly, when I copied the text, it's not working. Maybe I clicked the button very hard. Before I copy and paste the text, I must take screen shots of each slide.

The next thing I wanted to do is added sensory language of smell, sound, feeling and touch because we imagine too, we were there and we feel what happened. After I added the sensory language, I must extend one or two conversations in our text so I must imagine again what happened there, what she was doing, etc. After the step finished,  I must answer the question like easiest, difficult, enjoy and change. So this is the answer.

If I say the easiest thing step in make story bird is took and screen shots because It's not difficult. And I think the most difficult is when I add the adjectives with change all verbs to past tense because my English not too good. third question is enjoy, so I answer by searching the image from story bird because I can choose anything I like. The last answer is change. hm... I think I would change the dialogue I will use Microsoft word because it's easy.
